How can I update or cancel my flight reservation?
TravelHype compares flight prices from various airline and agency websites and shows you the best flights available. We link you to the website, so that you can make your reservation. TravelHype has nothing to do with reservations, as this can only be done through the airline or agency, along with reservation verifications.

For all your queries related to reservation alteration and cancellation, you will need to contact the customer services of that particular airline or agency you booked the reservation through. If you forget the reservation website, you could check with your bank to find out who you made the payment to.
Why does the price go up when I click a flight deal?
We are associated with multiple travel sites, searching for all the optimal flights at one time. At times, errors occur in the information from the airline and agency sites we're linked to, that can be due to them not updating their inventory or the unavailability of the flights for which you are searching for.
Tell me about your flight refund policy.
We are not a seller, and only provide searching services for flights. We do not have any such policy of refunding your money as we do not take payments from you. You should contact the airline or agency who you booked the flights through to find out about refunds.
Are flight prices inclusive of taxes?
The flight prices we show are all inclusive of fees and taxes. You may incur extra fees for the services you want i.e., pet accommodation charges, custom seat selection, etc. The airline or agency settles all such charges with you associated with your tickets.

Sometimes, airlines and agencies can also charge extra charges for their service provision or by selecting a certain payment method.
Are baggage fees added to the flight price?
Some airlines and agencies may include baggage in your flight charges, but some charge for baggage add-ons.
Do you provide an option to search for flights for me and my child?
When searching for flights on TravelHype, you can select the number of children and infant passengers via the Passengers/Class drop-down menu.
Can I book a flight for someone else?
Yes, sure you can. For this, you have to be vigilant while entering the passenger's details. Information entered must match the passenger’s information otherwise they can have traveling issues. A typing error or any minor mistake can cause them to bear extra fees for corrections. In some cases, the flights of such passengers are cancelled due to the non-matching of information or vague details.

In our search engine, select 'Multi-city route' below the search bar before you perform your search. You will then be able to search for a flight with different legs.
What is the process of booking a flight for a large group?
TravelHype shows flights for groups of up to nine passengers. If there are over nine passengers, we suggest you find the flight you wish to purchase on the search engine and then can contact the airline or agency directly to discuss group trips.
Why do some airlines keep their names hidden and write “Major Airline”?
Some airlines offer unusual, discounted flight prices that show rarely. For this, they prefer their names to be hidden until the entire process of flight reservations and payments has been completed.

Hotels

How can I update or cancel my hotel reservation?
TravelHype makes it easy to compare hotel options from trusted booking providers. Once you enter your details in the search box, you’ll be redirected to Expedia, where you can view available hotels and complete your booking. To update or cancel a reservation, please contact Expedia’s customer support or the hotel directly. TravelHype does not manage bookings, payments, or cancellations. If you’re unsure where you made your booking, check your email confirmation or bank statement for the booking provider’s details.
Why does the price change when I click a hotel deal?
Hotel prices can change at any time because Expedia and its partners update their rates and availability in real time. When you click through from TravelHype to Expedia, the latest room prices and offers will be shown. This ensures you always see the most accurate and up-to-date deals available.
What is your hotel refund policy?
TravelHype does not handle bookings or payments. All refunds are managed by Expedia or the hotel you booked through. To request a refund or learn more about cancellation policies, please contact Expedia’s customer service or the hotel directly.
Where does the hotel information come from?
All hotel listings and details shown through TravelHype are provided by Expedia. This includes information such as hotel names, photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing. We work with Expedia to ensure the information you see before being redirected is accurate and reliable.
Does TravelHype charge any booking fees?
No, TravelHype does not charge any fees for using our platform. You can search and compare hotels for free. Once you’re redirected to Expedia, any payments are made directly through their secure booking system.
How do I find the best hotel deals on TravelHype?
Finding great hotel deals on TravelHype is simple. Just enter your destination and travel dates in the search box. You’ll then be redirected to Expedia, where you can browse a wide range of hotels, compare prices, and choose the best option for your budget and travel plans.

Car Hire

How can I update or cancel my car hire reservation?
TravelHype connects you to car hire providers, but we don’t handle bookings directly. Once you enter your pick-up and drop-off details in the search box above, you’ll be redirected to EconomyBookings to view available cars and complete your booking.

For any updates, cancellations, or changes to your reservation, you’ll need to contact the car rental company you booked through. If you’ve forgotten which provider you used, you can check your bank statement for the payment recipient or review your browsing history to find the booking website.
Where can I get my car hire reservation details?
Your reservation details are only available from the car rental company you booked with. TravelHype doesn’t store booking information. If you’ve forgotten who you made the reservation with, you can check your bank statement or your browsing history to locate the provider’s website.
What is the car hire refund policy?
TravelHype only provides a search service for car hire and does not process payments. Refunds and cancellations are managed solely by the car rental company you booked through. Contact your provider directly to inquire about their refund policy.
What is the age limit for hiring a car?
Car hire age requirements vary by rental company and country. TravelHype does not set or alter these policies. You should check with the car rental provider when making your booking to confirm the minimum and maximum age limits, as well as any additional fees for young or senior drivers.

How can I change my email address?
To change your email address:
Go to your Account Information page and insert the new email address under the email option.
How can I update my username?
The username once selected cannot be changed. For this, you have to create a new account and delete the old one.
How can I change my profile details?
Your profile is always public so anyone can view it.

To update information in your profile:
Go to your Account Information page, add your information and click Save.
How can I close my account?
TravelHype has always strived to give outstanding service to its members. It gives its users a right to contact if any discrepancy arises regarding the policies or fellow members.

Whenever you decide to close your account, keep certain points in consideration.

We hold the right to remove content from our site. Discussions in which you took part on our travel forums will be preserved to avoid disruption in the conversation flow.

How can I change my cover photo?
Cover photos are open to all. Anyone visiting your profile can view it.

To add or change your cover photo:
Go to your Account Information page and click on the symbol located on the bottom right of the default cover photo.
How can I change my avatar?
Avatars are open to all. Anyone visiting your profile can view it.

To add a avatar picture or change your current picture:
Go to your Account Information page and upload the new avatar picture under the avatar option.
How can I manage my email subscriptions?
To subscribe/unsubscribe from a notification email:
Visit the Subscriptions page of your profile.
Why does TravelHype disable accounts?
On noticing any violation of rules and or misleading content on our website forum, TravelHype will often disable that person’s account. If a member creates a new account, who has been banned before, they will also be banned after.
