Travellers planning a trip between France and the UK in 2023 are likely to face 'massive disruption' caused by a combination of the EU's new digital visa system and the UK government's unwillingness to work in a constructive manner with French or EU leaders, a former British ambassador to France has warned.
I don't how to feel about this. I think that this is just another case of governments ruining things for their people. I just don't get it. I have friends whose family live in France and they will likely be struggling to see them starting in 2023 if nothing gets sorted!
That’s a worrying outlook 😬. The new EU entry/exit system (EES) was always going to cause delays, but if there’s no real coordination between the UK and EU, travellers will definitely feel the impact. Has anyone heard whether the checks at ports like Dover or Eurotunnel are being adapted to handle the extra processing time?
