I have only been on 2 road trips in my life but now that I have a dog, I only make sure where I travel can include him. His name is Peanut (I will be using him as my avatar). He is a smaller dog so space is not an issue but for those who have done road trips with dogs, can you offer me any tips?
I have had to take our dog quite far during a move and he did fine! You just have to make sure he feels safe and comfortable and stop every so often so he can get out and take a wee. Keeping snacks on hand helps too.
I am not a pet owner because I have allergy issues with pets, and that's why I can't share any tips about this. But I would like to listen to the visitors' travel stories and experiences about this. Hope they will share here.
