In terms of safety and affordability, what would you recommend as being some of the best locations for someone looking to travel alone? It is something I have always wanted to do but never have actually done.
I am not sure what the cost would be so you would have to look into this a bit further, but Rwanda is said to be one of the best solo trips someone can take. If you are not into the jungle scene, Iceland is probably the best place to go alone. You really don't have to worry about much there. It is safe, they have amazing food, and everyone is friendly.
If you’re looking for a destination that’s both safe and affordable for solo travel, I’d highly recommend Morocco. It’s incredibly welcoming to travelers, and you can easily explore on your own while feeling secure in cities like Marrakech, Fes, Essaouira, and Chefchaouen.
Morocco also offers great value, cozy riads, local meals, and tours that can fit a wide range of budgets without sacrificing the experience. As a solo traveler, you’ll love wandering the colorful medinas, enjoying street food, and meeting friendly locals along the way. Many first-time solo travelers fall in love with Morocco’s mix of culture, history, and stunning scenery, and often plan to return to discover even more hidden gems.
