Are there still Covid-19 screenings and quarantines in Australia?

I know for a while, if you went there you had to get tested as well as quarantined even if you were testing negative. I am not sure if they are still doing that now or not. I am hoping to go before the year is up, if not early into 2023 but it all depends on costs, weather, and available attractions.

No, you no longer need proof of vaccination nor do you need to wear masks.

I am not sure when it was lifted but it happened sometime this year. A friend of mine went to visit family at the end of July and had no issues.

Fantastic! I wanted to make sure before I did anything in terms of planning or booking. I was worried I was overlooking something or heard wrong. I am so thankful for this to be ending.
