I travel to Canada at least once a year to see family and this year it will be for Christmas. The recent news in Saskatchewan has me somewhat paranoid. I know we deal with stabbings a lot here in London but nothing like this. This is some scary stuff. This is the province where my family lives. Not to mention they seem to be having issues with COVID again.

This is something that is very rare in Canada and an issue more with how the local law enforcement handled things than that of an issue with violence itself. Had they approached the man with better training, things would not have gotten this bad so fast.

I guess I am overthinking things and being a bit too cautious. The media has a way of making things seem way worse than they are, especially in other countries. Thanks for this. You are probably right.
