I heard that rideshare companies in Colombia are not legal but I have seen people using them online so I am confused as to what is going on. I know a lot of people who rely on these apps to get around when they are in other countries, I know I do. I would hate to go to Colombia to find out I am stuck hoping to find a bus or taxi.
Yes, all ridesharing services are banned and illegal but because they are app networks, they can't do anything about people still using them. So long as you do not get caught, you will not have any issues. If you are going to use Uber or any other rideshare service, ALWAYS sit in the front seat so you do not raise any suspicions.
Wow, I would not have thought to sit in the front seat when doing this but I guess they think of everything, huh? This is pretty impressive but I think I would be too worried about breaking the law. What happens if they catch someone doing this?
