I know there are several countries where you tip after service be it in a hotel or at a restaurant. I want to know what is expected so I do not come off as rude or ungrateful when I go. I will be going to Croatia in early 2023.
10% seems to be the standard and quite normal. I am not sure if this is how it is in other areas as well but I tend to just stick with 10% when I am in an area that expects tips.
I think this was the case for the US as well when I was there but most people were pushing for 15% which just seemed too high for the service you get. I think 10% sounds reasonable.
